Customer Booking Terms
Version 1.0 · effective 24 October 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
This page is operated by Canopy (sole proprietorship, representative Changmin Oh, Korean business registration no. 655-16-02997, 8-1 Jwadong 2-gil, Jangan-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan, Republic of Korea, "Canopy"). The tour or activity is provided by the operator named on the page, and the booking contract is between you and that operator. Canopy provides the booking and payment tools.
2. When a booking is confirmed
- Instant-confirmation products: confirmed when payment is complete, and a confirmation email is sent.
- Approval products: once you send a request, the operator approves it within the period Canopy states (currently 48 hours). Payment is taken when the operator approves, and a confirmation email is sent. If the request is not approved within that period, it is cancelled automatically and you are not charged.
- The booking number (or QR code) in the confirmation email is your proof of booking.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are in the currency and amount shown on the page. Taxes included in the displayed price follow the law of the operator's country.
- Payment goes directly to the operator through a payment provider supported by Canopy. Only the payment provider handles card details.
- For deposit-only products, you pay the balance to the operator on site. The operator tells you which payment methods are accepted on site.
- Exchange rates and foreign transaction fees follow the conditions of your card issuer and the payment provider.
4. Cancellations and refunds
- The cancellation policy differs by product; the one shown on the page before you book applies (free cancellation until a deadline, tiered refunds, or non-refundable).
- To cancel, use the cancellation link in the confirmation email or contact the operator. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, under the policy, and may take the payment provider's processing time.
- If the operator cancels, you are refunded in full regardless of the reason.
- No refund is given if you do not show up, or arrive too late to take part.
- If the activity cannot go ahead for reasons beyond the operator's control, such as weather or safety, the operator offers a new date or a full refund.
5. What you need to do
- Enter your name, email address and phone number accurately. You bear any disadvantage caused by being unreachable.
- Check and follow the participation conditions on the product page (age, health, clothing, what to bring, pets and so on).
- Anyone under 14 (or a higher age if the law of your country says so) must be booked by a parent or guardian.
6. Liability
- The operator is responsible for running the tour or activity, for safety and for quality. If something goes wrong, contact the operator first, then welcome@canopy.travel if it is not resolved.
- Canopy provides the booking and payment tools and is not liable for loss caused by failures of external services it could not reasonably prevent. Canopy's liability does not exceed the amount of the booking concerned.
7. Personal data
The details you enter when booking are passed to the operator, and Canopy processes them under the Privacy Policy (canopy.travel/privacy).
8. Language and governing law
These terms are provided in several languages; if they differ, the English version prevails. They are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea; where the consumer protection law of your country of residence is more favourable to you, that law takes precedence.
